My hygenist recently recommended I give Crest Pro-Health products a try, as she said they've been working well for her (the paste along with the mouthwash). So, I picked up a tube of this stuff. I've always liked pastes with a little "grit" in them, so it was a nice break from Colgate Total, which I've been using for years. I guess I'll have to use the Crest for six months and see how much pain I have to suffer the next time I'm in "the chair." I've also used the mouthwash, which is also good, in the past. But I'm yet to use the paste along with the wash.

Bad cap

The toothpaste is great, but the cap hinges on my tube broke on the third use also.

The third time I opened the tube of toothpaste the pop-top cap broke off.

Sorry you keep having problems with the flip top cap of the Crest Pro Health Toothpaste. The flip-top cap is also a twist-on cap. You may try to snap the flip-cap closed and twist off the cap to dispense and then twist it back on for easier use. Also, we're aware that some cap hinges are breaking. We're in the process of fixing the caps to prevent future breaking. Hope this helps!

Poor cap design, toothpaste leaves a film in your mouth and product did not improve semi-annual cleanings.

This stuff is NASTY!

The taste of this leaves you wanting to brush your teeth right after using this toothpaste. Then whatever this bad taste is (which is not "Clean Mint") lingers in your mouth until you have to do something to get rid of the taste.
Into the trash it goes.

Need to get a better cap

I really like this toothpaste but I HATE the cap. It doesn't snap closed easily and if you don't close it all the way it leaks all over the place. PG, you either need to make a more solid product or it would probably be easier to make a better cap.
